Beginning Saturday, November 8, NOWcare will be available at BMC’s Eastside Urgent Care on weekends and holidays. NOWcare at The Center will close on weekends, but continue to operate weekdays from 9am-4pm.
“Partnering with NOWcare will expand the scope of services currently available at our Urgent Care facility as well as expand the hours of walk-in orthopedic care, providing an alternative for unnecessary emergency room visits,” said Greg Hagfors, CEO at BMC.
“By collaborating with community partners, such as The Center, we are able to enhance the patient experience as well as help lower the cost of care.”
The Center’s expert team of orthopedic physicians; Timothy Bollom, MD, Knute Buehler, MD, Michael Caravelli, MD, Michael Coe, MD, James Hall, MD, Anthony Hinz, MD, Jeffrey Holmboe, MD, Scott Jacobson, MD, Blake Nonweiler, MD, Soma Lilly, MD, Joel Moore, MD and James Verheyden, MD will work in collaboration with BMC’s Urgent Care staff to provide acute orthopedic consultation to BMC Providers.

BMC Eastside Urgent Care is located at 1501 NE Medical Center Dr. in Bend. NOWcare at BMC Urgent Care will be open on the weekends from 8am-4pm and holidays from 10am-4pm. No appointment is necessary.
