The leaves are falling in Corvallis and we are all taking a breath after an exciting return to campus life. We were overjoyed to see so many employers connecting with our students this term at our virtual career fairs and at a few smaller on-campus events. Even though the fall recruiting season is winding down, we are excited to offer a professional development opportunity for employers next week. We are also busily preparing for our winter career fairs and our summer job shadowing program.

DEI After 2020: What’s Changed in Business
The OSU Center for Advancing DEI in Business invites you to a virtual lunchtime conversation featuring a panel of three experienced DEI consultants working behind the scenes with companies advancing DEI initiatives.
The 2020 resurgence of the Movement for Black Lives fueled unprecedented momentum for meaningful changes within organizations across America. Organizations increased their investments in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, especially anti-racist initiatives. As we get ready to enter 2022, what have we learned? Of all of the public statements of solidarity, accountability and promises to do better, where do we stand today?
No matter whether you and your organization are just starting to consider DEI initiatives or you’re a long-time veteran to DEI work, you’re bound to walk away with more insight into what makes an effective — or ineffective — DEI initiative.
