PayneWest Insurance announced yesterday that the company is donating a total of $500,000 to community organizations located across its four-state footprint of Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. On April 1, the company announced its acquisition by Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC. PayneWest will now serve as the company’s northwest regional hub.
“We wanted to use this opportunity to celebrate this next exciting chapter for PayneWest by confirming our strong commitment to our communities,” said Kyle Lingscheit, CEO of PayneWest. “These crucial community organizations continue to support our friends and neighborhoods, as we recover from the pandemic. These donations are our way of saying ‘thank you’.”
Giving back to communities is at the core of PayneWest’s values. These donations are in addition to the hundreds of community sponsorships and donations given annually through the company’s charitable efforts, PayneWest Gives. In 2020, the company provided over $1 million in support to community organizations, including $500,000 donated to food banks in local communities in response to the growing need due to the pandemic.
