Join our team as a Part-Time Forklift Operations & Safety Instructor!
The Center for Business, Industry, and Professional Development (CBIPD) at COCC is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced part-time instructor for our Forklift Operations & Safety course. If you are passionate about safety and skilled in forklift operations, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom instruction and hands-on practice drills.
- Evaluate participants’ competency in forklift operation.
- Issue forklift operator certification cards upon successful completion.
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience operating forklifts.
- OSHA-compliant forklift operator certification is preferred.
- Ability to engage and educate adult learners.
Details:
- Classes are offered once a quarter, typically one day from 8am-1pm at the Redmond COCC campus.
- Flexible, occasional opportunities for customized training at various locations.
