Pure Barre Bend, a barre workout featuring an effective, low-impact technique, is hosting a grand opening party at their studio in the Old Mill District on Friday August 15 from 6-8pm.
Guests are invited to join the Pure Barre Bend team to celebrate. Attendees will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, music, giveaways and raffle prizes, health and wellness stations and more. Anyone is welcome to attend this free event.
Pure Barre states that the method is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body. The 55-minute workout uses a low-impact technique, protecting joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section, in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk.
Pure Barre Bend opened its doors in late June after an extensive six-month overhaul of the old Ann Taylor Loft location. You can find them at 330 SW Powerhouse Dr. Ste. 150, right behind Jimmy John’s.
With 2,000+ square feet – of which over 1,000 is reserved as dedicated workout space – the studio is large enough to accommodate 28 participants per class. Notably, the interior designoffers a stark contrast to most workout facilities, featuring professional woodwork, custom architectural features, lighting and modern décor. The studio, owned by local resident Erin Anderson, is the first Pure Barre in Oregon.
