Vehicle wash bays (also known as water reservoir mats or mobile washbasins) are suitable for automobile detailers, automotive cleaning stations and workspaces responsible for washing cars. Companies that routinely wash vehicles must take steps to counter water wash-up in cars and comply with water rinse legislation due to the pollution of washing water that comes from vehicle washing liquids such as automobile waxes, paint correction, stains from foam handguns, leather treatment and product information.
Various range of bays
Vertucci says his self-service bay is still busy, and a free-served bay is the simplest one to include, save maybe for the pet wash, for Dale Reynolds, owner of Carolina Pride Carwash Systems & Solutions. Self-services are extremely easy to incorporate when an extra bay is extended. Buzz Glover, a Carwash expert, said pet wash can be incredibly helpful.
- “Dog washback’s first advantage is that they bring another customer to you,” he says. Although dog washing is gaining steam, competition is relatively poor or nonexistent on most markets, he said.
- Because of the trend toward automated bays in the industry’s self-service market, many older washes can afford to wash their animals without sacrificing any money. Glover claims it can be an ideal way for unused or underused bays to gain (and profit) more.
- Glover argues that while sales are not as high for an animal laundry conversion as an automated laundry conversion, the costs are much smaller. Furthermore, new consumers can be marketed to become carwash owners.
- “While the equipment packages vary, for every bay that you plan on installing, you can spend $8.000 to $10.000 on the equipment,” Glover says. He also states that there are no plumbing and no power costs in this range, and owners would have to build the machinery room and border the bay with industrial glass and/or bowl walls. The needs of HVAC should also be addressed.
- Glover claims the estimate is $35.000 minimal, and the turnover of $750 to $2.500 a month, to turn one carwash bay into two pet washbasins.
Clean Water
Cleaning gravel, grease and other waste from cars and machines were found in washbasins. It is essential to guard against corrosion and mitigate wear and tear maintenance failures. For the most part, a regular car wash bay should be used to carry out the job. Some businesses use equipment which could never fit into a typical car washbasin, like
- Vehicles of house
- Vehicles and machinery mining
- Vehicles of travel
- Machinery for industry
- Any applications for quarantine
In order to cooperate with regulators, it is advisable to collaborate with an experienced partner in washbasin design and care. Clearwater has more than 20 years of drainage solutions expertise. The construction of many car washing bays requires our historical record. We are pursuing a knowledge process to provide every customer with successful projects. Local water agencies identify pre-treatment solutions that usually require oil-water separators. PH control and other site-specific treatments will also be needed to ensure that the consistency of the wastewater continues to be specified.
