The ServSafe Certified Food Manager Class is a nationally-accredited, well respected and voluntary program that offers in-depth training on the prevention of foodborne illness, and has provided a tremendous public health benefit to food service providers and to the public.
Kitchens with Certified Food Managers are proven to have fewer health code violations and fewer outbreaks than kitchens that operate without the benefit of this additional food safety training.
Offered by Deschutes County Environmental Health. $125 registration fee includes book, practice test, full day class, proctored exam, answer sheet and, upon passing the exam, Certification valid for five years.
