Many in our Central Oregon Community are struggling in a daily battle for survival. Homelessness is a growing epidemic in our community, and many go without basics necessities like food, clothing and shelter. Shepherd’s House is focusing on these individuals and bringing help in tangible ways. They offer a year-round low barrier shelter in Bend and a low barrier winter shelter in Redmond, which will soon become a year-round shelter. These locations provide food, clothing, counsel, direction and a safe harbor away from the dangers of the streets to women, children, families and individuals in need.

Everyone who comes to Shepherd’s House for help is treated with dignity and respect. As they become more connected with caring people, services and tangible help, the opportunity to choose a different path begins to emerge. Simple things like a meal, clothing, a warm bed or a caring voice are often an important first step in helping individuals experiencing homelessness chart a better path for their lives.

Join Shepherd’s House and many others in our community to help address the homeless epidemic and give people a chance at a more healthy path forward. You can give food, clothing or your time as a volunteer to become part of the solution. You can also offer much-needed financial support. As the need continues to grow, Shepherd’s House continues to grow. Now more than ever, we need the support of the community to keep pace with this growing need in Central Oregon.
