Steele Associates Architects of Bend is currently working on two more FedEx Ground projects in Troutdale, Oregon and Tacoma, Washington. The firm has been working with FedEx Ground for nearly a decade and has provided architectural services for projects in Oregon, Washington, Arizona and California.
FedEx Ground Troutdale, Oregon is a major 170,400 square foot renovation consisting of the design of a multi-phase expansion to their main Hub Facility. It consists of five different areas of package and distribution building expansion,170 new dock doors and five separate areas of site improvements that handle semi-truck/trailer and general auto traffic and parking.
It is currently in the construction phase. The new FedEx Ground Tacoma facility is a multi building satellite complex of 230,000 square feet. This project consists of the design of three buildings in a new industrial park outside the city of Fife, Washington. The program is comprised of a large distribution center, security gateway building, vehicle maintenance garage and a locker shelter structure. The project is currently in the design phase.
