On Thursday April 16, LifeLine Taphouse will host a tap takeover and auction benefiting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation—an organization which supports families of wildland firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty. LifeLine brewery will host the Rip-N-Lips Invitational pre-party at 249 NW Sixth Street in Redmond. Juniper Brewing Company in Redmond and Bridge 99 Brewery based in Bend will take over LifeLine’s 30 taps with the proceeds from beer sales benefitting the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF).
In addition, the party will feature live music by the local The Lookouts Band and folks will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a Traeger Smoker (valued at $700) and spa and fishing packages with all proceeds from the raffle benefitting WFF. Finally, food can also be purchased from LifeLine with a part of the proceeds benefitting WFF.
This event comes ahead of the wildly popular 5th Annual Rip-N-Lips Invitational fishing tournament and auction, which will be held near Wickiup Reservoir at the Gull Point Campground on the Deschutes National Forest, Saturday, May 30, 2015. The event begins at 4pm and includes numerous raffles, a live auction, music, food and fun. Teams wishing to participate in the fishing tournament can contact Sam Pearcy by May 8 at 541-410-0203.

All proceeds from the event go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The non-profit Wildland Firefighter Foundation was formed as a result of the Storm King (South Canyon) Fire tragedy that killed nine Prineville Interagency Hotshots from central and eastern Oregon as well as five other firefighters. The organization honors and acknowledges past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partners with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters.
