Cybersecurity Education Summit designed to bring greater cybersecurity resources to small and medium-sized businesses and public services organizations
Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) and Redhawk Network Security announce the Cybersecurity Education Summit that will take place on Friday, November 3 from 8:30am-2:30pm at the OSU Cascades Campus, Room: 209.
Business owners, technology employees, and information security professionals supporting small and medium-sized businesses and public services organizations are invited to join for a day of education and information sharing surrounding the issues of information protection and cybersecurity resources needed for smaller organizations.
Tickets are available for $50 for TAO members and $65 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased by going to www.techoregon.org/events/cybersecurity-education-summit.
In today’s economy, fast-paced business growth and rampant security threats often leave small businesses and small public service organizations behind. Cybersecurity is often an afterthought or considered too expensive, leaving organizations vulnerable and exposed. With the recent passing of Senate Bill 90, Oregon has established an initiative to create a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) designed to provide valuable resources to all organizations.
The Cybersecurity Education Summit will create a launch point for the CoE, and will provide valuable information and resources for organizations of all sizes
