First Friday Art Walk

The Old Mill District art studios, galleries and a host of shops collaborate to celebrate creativity in our community by way of First Friday Art Walk! This Friday, August 4 from 3-6pm participating galleries and shops will have samples from Va Piano Vineyards and Evoke Winery for you to sip while strolling through artistic creations around the district.

Tumalo Art Co. opens Shelli Walters new exhibit “Sun Garden” this Friday offering art walkers an opportunity to treat themselves to a stroll through her whimsical, imagined gardens. Hayden Homes Amphitheater welcomes the return of soul rockers Michael Franti & Spearhead this Saturday, August 5 with special guest SOJA. Known for his invigorating live shows and strong sense of community, Franti says, “This tour represents being able to hold space for the micro and the macro of love. That’s what big big love is: holding space for the personal and the worldly.”

High Desert Food and Farm Alliance and 10 Barrell Brewing Company have partnered for “Drink it Forward” from 4-6pm every other Thursday through September, including THIS Thursday, August 3 at the 10 Barrel Westside location on Galveston!
