What to expect from AI in the future?

Artificial intelligence is the hot topic inside and out of the tech industry for years now. Every major technology giant has invested in or is developing AI themselves. There have been many developments so far, and many more are still to come. You can see devices infused with artificial intelligence solutions already on the market, like a refurbished ipad mini, for example. The question is, where is the world of AI heading to? What is the future of artificial intelligence, and how will it affect our everyday lives? Let’s answer those essential questions.

First of all, you can expect the future to be less artificial and more intelligent. But do not believe a myth that humans will be replaced with robots completely. This is a good topic for a science-fiction movie, but not necessarily the exact prophecy for what is going to happen. And sadly, it looks like flying cars are not going to happen anytime soon, either. So what is being predicted for AI?

For starters, you can expect to see self-driving vehicles. This is something every major industry is waiting for, as with globalization, the logistics are getting more and more complicated and expensive.

Many smart city concepts in development aim for the cities of the future to be more efficient, functional, and finally more comfortable for people to live in. Let’s face it; today’s urbanization is even close to a plan suitable for tomorrow’s world needs. The traffic is killing everyone already, and the spatial problems are here to stay. Smart cities should be an upgrade to all of us.

You can also expect your home devices to work more for you rather than with you. You must have seen those smart vacuums, but buckle up, as more chores are about to be done by devices and not you.

The AI will revolutionize the way we will, but mostly by adding efficiency and comfort to everything we do. It is high time we stop wasting time on things that can be done for us and focus on development, both personal and civilizational.
