Local real estate brokers from Redmond, Bend and Sunriver are gearing up for Windermere Real Estate’s 40th Annual Community Service Day, which will be held on Friday, June 7. During this cherished summer tradition, they will volunteer for the Public Land Stewards, a nonprofit that works to keep public lands accessible and protected. This is a unique way to highlight a local business working to help a local nonprofit organization.

On this year’s Community Service Day, brokers from Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate will maintain public lands around Central Oregon by picking up litter on Friday, June 7, 9am-1pm.

Established in 1984, Windermere’s Community Service Day has been recognized nationally as a model hands-on volunteer program and has been adopted by other real estate companies and businesses around the country. Nearly 300 offices across the Western United States will pause for the day to allow brokers, managers, owners, and staff to make a positive difference in their local communities.
