Taekwondo Youth Camp

Learn Taekwondo! Master Jung offers expert training in traditional martial arts, focusing on discipline, respect, and physical fitness while having fun in a positive environment, often learning with K-Pop in the background! Classes are taught at Master Jung’s studio, Deschutes Jung’s Taekwondo, and are open to students ages 10-15. This four-week class is held once per week on Wednesday. Master Jung is 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, 1st-degree blackbelt in Judo and Hapkido, and is certified in child physical education.

Yoga Youth Camp

Have fun learning yoga! Held on early release Wednesdays, this class aims to develop curiosity, courage, and creativity while learning new poses and possibilities. Connecting with others with kindness, this class encourages expression through movement. Instructor Kim Young is a certified K-12 educator, mindfulness facilitator, and yoga teacher for both children and adults. Ages 10-15.

Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR for Youth

This Safe Sitter® program prepares students to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students will learn first aid, choking infant/child rescue, and infant/child CPR, in addition to how to deal with other potential dangers. The course teaches CPR but does not certify students in CPR. For 6th-9th grade students.

Sewing for Beginners Youth Camp

Sewing for Beginners aims to be soooooo fun! In this introduction to sewing, students will make a professional-looking pillowcase to keep as they learn all about using a sewing machine: how to thread it, what in the world a bobbin is, and what all those dials and knobs do. They will also learn about different fabrics and cutting methods.
