Read Below for Dates for Our Spring Beaver Works Habitat Projects

Spring is here and Beaver Works has many planting projects on the horizon! As part of Operation Beaver Food, we have been busy the past few months harvesting willow and cottonwood sticks for planting this spring and summer.

Beaver Works’ BeaverHOOD planting projects will start in May and will be at different locations for each project. These two-day projects to plant beaver habitat will include:

  • digging in soft and rocky soils
  • planting sticks
  • installing fencing
  • pounding t-posts in the ground
  • hiking
  • carrying moderately heavy loads of supplies
  • shoveling dirt
  • setting up trail cameras

We’ll need about 15 people for each project — so share this with your friends and make a fun trip out of it while helping to restore beaver habitat!
