The Bend Casting Club, an affiliate of Trout Unlimited, will be hosting its third annual Bend Fly Fishing Festival at Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe. The festival provides an excellent family friendly opportunity to engage with the fly fishing community.
The Bend Fly Fishing Festival will be held Saturday, April 16, 10am-4pm at Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe located at 805 SW Industrial Way, Ste. 6, Bend. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
The Bend Fly Fishing Festival has become a popular event for people to view and learn about all aspects of the fly fishing lifestyle including artists, fly tying, casting, conservation and stewardship.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to present casting instruction, fly tying demonstrations, support some local brands and non profits and get the community together to celebrate such a great pastime for many in Central Oregon,” said Brett Davis, president of Bend Casting Club.
In addition to casting clinics and demos there will be a kids craft area, raffles, food and beverages from local vendors.
This event is co-sponsored by Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe, Confluence Fly Shop and Trout Unlimited.
