New owners, Dennis and Jessica Loveless, have been involved in the business for years, plan to increase community involvement.
Cathy’s Cleaners, a long time Central Oregon cleaning business, and well regarded as a “greener cleaner,” has been purchased by local Bend family, Dennis Loveless along with his wife Jessica and son Tyelor.
Although new to the title of owners, Dennis and Tyelor are not new to Cathy’s having worked all facets of the cleaning business. Dennis has been manager of Cathy’s for four years, and both are intimately familiar with the ins and outs of running the four store locations, the machines and most importantly, the clientele. Jessica has worked as a CSR for a law firm.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the Loveless’ purchasing the business,” said forner owner Eyal Goldman. “We have spent the last three years delivering environmentally friendly cleaning services to a clientele we like to think of as family and we are confident the Loveless’ will continue to deliver the same family friendly service our customers have come to know us for.”
The Loveless family is excited for the opportunity and want to focus the business on good old-fashioned customer service. “Now that team Loveless is behind the counter, we are proud to be able to say that we will have at least one family member at each of our four locations,” Dennis pointed out. “We also want to focus on the community by providing ways to give back with a strong focus on schools and veterans programs,” added Dennis.
Some of the services that Cathy’s cleaners will offer include free cleaning of school uniforms, cheer uniforms, marching band uniforms, graduation robes, choir robes, a veterans discount of 25 percent, free flag cleaning, among other specials that you can read about on their website.
With over 50 years experience in garment care and cleaning, Cathy’s Cleaners is a Green Earth Silicone Dry Cleaner, Greener Cleaner certified by the Greener Cleaner Council in the state and Dry cleaner from Central Oregon in the Green Business Bureau.
