For the 13th consecutive year, the Central Oregon Great Giveaway (COGGA) plans to help families in Central Oregon communities to get ready for the new school year and colder seasons. This community event, which is entirely organized and supported by volunteers and donations, has expanded to four locations and will be held in Bend, La Pine and Prineville on Saturday, August 15 and in Redmond on August 29. All items are free for individual use.

“The community support we receive for this event is amazing,” says this year’s Bend COGGA Chair Peggy Clarke. “By being able to offer four locations this year, we expect to help several thousand people in Central Oregon this year. There’s truly a sense that we’re all in this together – it’s part of the wonderful culture in our area.”
