The Oregon Community Foundation and The Nonprofit Association of Oregon host  Nonprofit Resource Roundup.

The Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) and The Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) are teaming up to help La Pine nonprofits learn about the OCF grant process and connect with other nonprofit resources available through NAO.

The Redmond Resource Roundup will take place on Tuesday, January 20 at The Becky Johnson Community Center from 11:30am to 2pm at 412 SW 8th Street in Redmond.

The La Pine Resource Roundup will take place on Monday, February 9 at The La Pine Senior Center from 11:30am to 2.m at 16450 Victory Way in La Pine.

The events are free and open to all nonprofit agency representatives, grant writers and fundraisers. Participants must RSVP. Lunch will be provided.

“Our goal is to become more connected with nonprofits in Redmond and help them understand our grant process,” said Cheryl Puddy, associate program officer and regional administrator for The Oregon Community Foundation in Central and Eastern Oregon. “We want to share tips on how to write a strong and competitive proposal when applying for community grants through OCF.”

According to Puddy, OCF has partnered in this effort with The Nonprofit Association of Oregon to raise awareness of other resources also available to nonprofits throughout the state.

“We are excited to be partnering in this way with The Oregon Community Foundation and to hear what nonprofits in Jefferson County need in order to be successful,” said Executive Director of NAO, Jim White.
