Hydro Flask—the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks—announce plans for a new state-of-the-art headquarters facility in Bend. After two years in its current NorthWest Crossing location, the company’s continued growth has spurred the need for a larger space and an elevated office design that will support the brand’s outdoor-loving culture. Steele Associates was selected as project architects, SunWest Builders will act as general contractor, Connell Hull is the agency for key elements of interior design and Central Oregon development company TaylorNW will share in the ownership of the new facility.

Down the street from their current location, the new headquarters will be situated at the corner of York and Lolo, just minutes from the world-class singletrack of Phil’s Trail. Set to break ground this summer, the modern, 12,000-square foot office building will incorporate a variety of unique features including a hydration station, bike corral and showers for post-lunch exercise outings. In addition, team members will have access to beverage taps and specialty coffee equipment featuring Hydro Flask customers’ microbrews, kombucha and roasted coffee. With panoramic view windows and roll-up doors facing the Cascades, the space will embody Hydro Flask’s fun and adventure-oriented brand culture.

An integrated research and development center with product design, engineering and testing will live alongside sales, marketing, operations, finance, and Human Resources. There will also be an open space for team members to collaborate and socialize.

“We have built an incredible team and we’re excited to design a facility from the ground up—one that reflects the company’s values and culture,” said Hydro Flask CEO Scott Allan. “We look forward to inviting our community, key partners, and employees’ families to come celebrate with us at our open house in 2016.”

Hydro Flask continues to experience extraordinary market growth and now has a total of 50 employees, half of which have been hired since January 2014.

Hydro Flask began in the summer of 2009 with an epiphany on a Hawaiian beach, and became a reality in beautiful Bend, Oregon, one of the country’s premiere outdoor playgrounds. The company’s mission today is to save the world from lukewarm beverages.

Hydro Flask is now the award-winning* leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks and has recently expanded into the food and beverage industry with its food flasks and industry-first and only double wall vacuum insulted 64oz growlers. Using only high-quality 18/8 stainless steel, Hydro Flask delivers what people on the go have been looking for: a durable flask that keeps hots hot, colds cold, is stylish, 100% recyclable and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Hydro Flask believes that great flasks and great causes go hand in hand, and through its charitable arm, FivePercentBack.org™, offers a giveback program that allows consumers to allocate a portion of their flask sales to a charity they choose.
