Magic Cycle Werks, an emerging handcrafted custom steel bicycle company in Bend is excited to announce the “Boz Build,” an all road bike build project for Team Sky Professional racer and Bend native, Ian Boswell (the Boz), that will be shared on social media for bicycle enthusiasts to follow.

The finished bike will be revealed at NAHBS (North American Handmade Bicycle Show), at the Sacramento Convention Center, in Sacramento, California., February 26 – 28.

Magic Cycle Werks is building a custom Esker AR model bicycle for Boswell, a top up and coming American professional road racing cyclist who rides for UCI ProTeam Team Sky. Over the course of the handcrafting process, Magic Cycles and Boswell will share updates on their social media channels. The finished bike will be on display at the Magic Cycle Werks booth #57 at NAHBS for attendees to check out and will be delivered to Boswell shortly after. Additionally, Knight Composites and Shimano will be providing products for the bike.

“It is exciting to be building a bike for a rider of this caliber” said Greg White, owner of Magic Cycle Werks, “and we are equally are excited to be able to share the process with our followers on social media”.

The “Boz Build” process begins the same way as all Magic Cycle Werks bike builds, with a meeting with the client to determine needs, get body geometry and a feel for the styling. Magic Cycle Werks then generates drawings to final approval and the custom build begins.
