Since starting up in a Sunriver garage 29 years ago, NAVIS has quietly risen to one of Central Oregon’s largest companies. Its 350 employees have voted it as one of Oregon’s Top Workplaces four of the last five years.

Headquartered in Bend’s Old Mill District, software and services help independent hotels and vacation rental companies book more reservations and take control of their marketing. The result is more revenue and a better guest experience.

If you’re not familiar with NAVIS, you’ll surely recognize many of its 600 clients—a veritable Who’s Who of high-end hospitality brands including Pebble Beach, The Broadmoor, Skamania Lodge, Vail Resorts, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Sunriver Resort, Brasada Ranch, Eagle Crest and many more from across the U.S.

All but the smallest hotels and vacation rental companies benefit from NAVIS products and insights. “We provide exceptional service, consulting and ongoing 24/7 support to our clients,” explains NAVIS Director of Marketing Jeff Robertson, “which isn’t too common for a technology company. Essentially, we serve daily as an extra set of eyes and ears to their business, helping ensure opportunities aren’t missed and business potholes are avoided.”

This partnership approach pays off. “Our average client sees six-figure increases in annual lodging revenue— a 14:1 or greater rate of return on the fees they pay us. Although contracts are month-to-month, our average client works with us for almost nine years—a strong testament to the business-building value we deliver.

“Our staff is really our secret sauce. We’re a strong values-driven company that benefits from Bend’s friendly and hospitable community. The people we hire locally are a big part of our success given their willingness and experience serving others.

“Growth is in our future. While we’ve grown between five percent and 35 percent annually for the last decade and have leading market share in our verticals, we have so much in front of us. We want to be the primary revenue-generating solution for hospitality teams worldwide. Our current offerings are becoming more powerful and easier to use, and exciting new offerings are on the way to unleash the revenue performance potential of our clients’ teams.”

To achieve its ambitious goals, NAVIS needs more talented and service-oriented people across a range of disciplines.
