Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC) has scheduled a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting at “Hawthorne Station” for 4:00 PM on July 21. The 334 NE Hawthorne location in Bend will be home to both the Central Oregon transit hub and COIC Administration – including its Community & Economic Development, and Loan Departments.
Hawthorne Station is the new transportation intermodal center for the Central Oregon region, connecting passengers riding Cascades East Transit in Bend (aka BAT) to all routes serving Bend as well as the regional Cascades East Transit Community Connectors providing public transit to all Central Oregon Communities. Connections can also be made to intercity service providers to Portland, Chemult, Eastern Oregon, and to local taxi services.
