Volunteer Connect Hosts Volunteer Fairs

Interested in getting involved in the community? Come and get help navigating the volunteer opportunities to find a fit that is right for you and your schedule. There is no cost to attend this event.

Volunteer Connect and the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Volunteer Fair on Tuesday, May 1 from 4-7pm at the Sisters Area Chamber (291 E. Main Ave).

Local nonprofit representatives will be on hand to answer your questions and help you find a volunteer opportunity to fit your needs.

Volunteering has a multitude of benefits. Volunteer to widen your network of friends, deepen your resume, and impact a cause you’re passionate about. Volunteering can even improve your health. Volunteer with your family and friends to make memories while you make a difference.

Busy? Get your volunteering done in one day at an event. Learn how to be a volunteer for Sisters Country events like the Sisters Stampede, the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, the Sisters Fresh Hops Festival, the Sisters Folk Festival and more!

Want to deepen your impact in Sisters? Join us to learn about volunteering with Together for Children, Sisters Graduate Resource Organization, Sisters Habitat for Humanity, or the Kiwanis Food Bank.

One Makes Many – Crook County Volunteer Fair

Thursday, May 14, 3–6pm

If you are looking for opportunities to serve your community, you don’t want to miss One Makes Many – Crook County Volunteer Fair.

During the Fair, over 20 local nonprofit agencies that use volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about how you can help including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Crook County Habitat for Humanity, Girl Scouts, Humane Society of the Ochocos and many more!

The Fair is free and open for the public to attend with no registration required.

Volunteer Fair organizers Big Brothers Big Sisters, Crook County DHS and Volunteer Connect hope interested citizens will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn about volunteer opportunities in Crook County and the invaluable services that organizations provide in our community.
