Hopscotch Kids Announces Grand Opening on Galveston in Bend

Celebration will take place this weekend featuring student chair art benefiting art and literacy programs, storewide specials, giveaways and Ida’s cupcakes. 

Hopscotch Kids, the new locally owned and operated children’s store in Bend announces its grand opening and celebratory event this weekend.

The event will kick off Friday with a fundraiser for Cascade Middle School arts and literacy programs where art students will auction off painted children’s chairs in the theme of various book titles.

When:  Friday, November 1 through Sunday, November 3

Hours:  10am – 9pm Friday             

           10am – 6pm Saturday              

           11am – 4pm Sunday

Where: Hopscotch Kids – 1303 NW Galveston Ave.

Hopscotch will host storewide specials, appetizers, refreshments and Ida’s famous cupcakes and giveaways from Cuppa Yo, Bouncing off the Wall, Versante’s pizza and Ida’s.

On Sunday, there will be a drawing for three $50 dollar gift certificates to Hopscotch and free merchandise.

Unique to Bend, Hopscotch carries exclusive, hard-to-find clothing and shoes brands such as, Livie and Luca, See Kai Run, Bogs, Keens, Robeez, Naturino, Morgan and Milo shoes, Ergo baby, Duex par duex, Isabella and Chloe, Kicky Pants, Nohi kids, and a large array of books, eco-friendly toys and learning games.

The store specializes in clothing up to size 14 and larger shoe sizes for tweens. The store also provides a play area for children while parents shop and explore, and offers free gift wrapping.
