The City of Sisters, in partnership with Sisters Park and Recreation District (SPRD) and Sisters School District, invite the public to support the community and participate in Celebrate Sisters Day on Saturday, May 10 from 9am to 2pm.

Volunteers will meet in front of Sisters City Hall, located at 520 E. Cascade Avenue, then venture out all over Sisters to work on a range of projects which will clean up and enhance Sisters natural beauty. There will be volunteer opportunities for all skill and fitness levels. Participants are asked to bring their own equipment such as paint brushes, rollers, rakes, hoes, shovels, pick axes, buckets, squeegees, etc. Work will culminate with a BBQ lunch, sponsored by The Roundhouse Foundation in front of City Hall at 1:00.

“Having community members work together that might not otherwise meet helps to create a sense of community, an added benefit of the day”, commented City Manager Andrew Gorayeb.

“We are all looking forward to having a lot of positive, civic-minded citizens come together for an enjoyable and productive experience which will help enhance our great community.”
