What the Women’s Foundation hears from local women on the “Listen to Her” tour will become a major part of the upcoming Comprehensive Report on Women and Girls in Oregon and that report will be shared with decision-makers all over the state. The event in Bend is April 6 at COCC.

The Town Hall will be fun and interactive. At the event, you’ll be able to share your experiences in a variety of different ways — through real-time polling, anonymous write-in sheets, break-out discussion groups and a storytelling booth.

Childcare, refreshments and Spanish translation services will be provided. All women and girls are invited at attend, so please invite your family, friends and co-workers to come too.

The Women’s Foundation of Oregon is creating the first comprehensive research report on the status of women and girls in Oregon since 1998. To ensure that the report accurately reflects the reality of women and girls all over Oregon, the Foundation is conducting Listen to Her, a statewide listening tour, with a stop here in Central Oregon to gather real-life experiences to show the stories behind the statistics. The Listen to Her tour will include a large, interactive, town hall style event:
