Deschutes County Environmental Health Department will be offering three ServSafe Certified Food Manager courses in the latter part of 2026. They will offer a course in English on September 15, a course taught in Spanish on October 6, and another English course on December 15.
Interested students can call the Deschutes County Environmental Health Department at 541-317-3114 to register for any of these sessions. The cost for the course is $125, which includes a textbook, pre-test with answers, full day class, proctored exam, answer key, and upon passing the test, a Certified Food Manager Certificate valid for five years. This Certification will be required for licensed food facilities throughout Oregon starting in 2029.
