Bend Ophthalmology to be anchor tenant in building adjoining the St. Charles Bend Campus. Getz Properties, LLC announced that on-site work construction started this week on its new medical building. The construction team for the Janis Building includes R&H Construction-general contractor, D’Agostino Parker-civil engineers, Jack Robinson and Sons-excavation contractor, Valorie Lukins-landscape design, BCA-architectural and National Mortgage- financing.
The project is located at 2537 NE Conners Ave., lot 13 in the Woodlands Professional Office Park. Following site preparation, building construction is planned to begin in August, with a project completion date sometime in April 2016 (subject to weather).
Bend Ophthalmology, LLC, the anchor tenant, has leased 6,546 square feet in the new building. An additional 8,600 square feet, all or in part, is available for lease. For more information, contact Getz Properties at gpllc@bendnet.com.
The contemporary two story building was designed by Bend architectural firm BCA. Building features include solar heated water, heated sidewalk, LED lighting, low water consumption landscaping, emergency generator, advanced security system, gurney-sized elevator, natural lighting, 73 full size on-site parking spaces, golf cart/biking/pedestrian pathway to St. Charles, decks and spectacular mountain views.
The project adjoins the St. Charles Campus, and can be accessed off 27th Street by either Conners Avenue, Courtney Drive, or from St. Charles Medical Center by way of interior streets. The Janis Building will be the newest addition to the office park, which includes a variety of healthcare providers, including St. Charles Healthcare, Bend Urology, Partners in Care (Hospice), Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic, Deschutes County Medical Center and Bend Neurological Associates.
