Me’Kelle Brosnan (Me’Kelle Pilates) recently acquired Move Pilates and More from Diane McFerran. Brosnan was a student at Move for two years while completing her own certification through BASI to become a certified Pilates instructor. Along with her involvement at the studio, Brosnan’s training is very similar to McFerran’s, which made her the prime candidate to become the next owner of Move.
McFerran says transitioning the studio to Brosnan was the perfect choice. “I chose Me’kelle in the spirit of wanting her to succeed, and for the students to continue their journey in Pilates.”
“I’ve known from the start of my career as a Pilates instructor that I wanted to have my own studio some day,” says Brosnan, “and I was building toward that. When the opportunity presented itself, I was very excited. The transition has been seamless because I had spent so much time in the Move community already.”
Brosnan started teaching classes at Move on December 1. She has been enjoying the process of getting to know the clients who have been regulars there. Brosnan’s clientele have also transitioned into the new studio.
Move, located on Industrial Way, will be hosting an Open House on January 14 from 6-7:30pm. It will be a relaxed and fun time to get to know Brosnan and for students to enjoy community together.
