Ski Mt. Bachelor for just $25 and support local schools!
The seventh annual Mt. Bachelor “Ski for Schools” fundraiser to benefit the Education Foundations for Bend-La Pine and Redmond Schools will run from November 28 –December 2, 2011. The five day event is back by popular demand and made possible thanks to the generosity of Mt. Bachelor!
Skiers and snowboarders are urged to purchase $25 single day Ski for Schools lift tickets and redeem them at Mt. Bachelor during the five day event. Tickets will be PRE-SOLD and will be on sale starting November 1st through Black Friday, November 25, at the following Central Oregon locations.
In Bend and Sunriver: 4 Season’s Recreational Outfitters, Great Outdoors by Altrec.com, La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, Mid Oregon Credit Union, Mountain Supply, Pine Mountain Sports, Powder House, REI, Side Effect, Skjersaa’s, Vanilla, and Zydeco. In Redmond: Dr. Scot Burgess’s office, High Desert Vision Center, Jody’s, McDonald’s (Redmond only), Mid Oregon Credit Union, and at the RHS Athletic office. Tickets are limited and will NOT be available at the Mt. Bachelor ticket windows, SO PURCHASE TICKETS BEFORE NOV. 25!
Mt. Bachelor generously donates ALL Ski for Schools revenue back to the Foundations, raising more than $100,000 to benefit local schools over the last six years. According to Andy Goggins, Director of Marketing and Communications at Mt. Bachelor “We’re excited to continue supporting the Bend-La Pine and Redmond Education Foundations through the Ski for Schools program again this winter. This is another great way that Mt. Bachelor can contribute to our local communities while offering a great value for area residents to ski and ride for just $25!” Heather Vihstadt, Executive Director of the Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools states, “We are deeply grateful to Mt.
