June Legislative Days Recap
Oregon lawmakers returned to Salem June 15–17 for Legislative Days, the Legislature’s primary interim work period between sessions. While no bills were voted on, committees used the three-day meeting to review implementation of recently passed legislation, hear from state agencies and industry experts, and begin laying the groundwork for the 2027 long session.

Prosperity Council Recommendations Released
After nearly a year of meetings, stakeholder engagement, and public input, Governor Tina Kotek’s Oregon Prosperity Council has released its final recommendations aimed at strengthening Oregon’s long-term economic competitiveness. The report identifies strategies to improve housing production, infrastructure, workforce development, innovation, permitting, tax policy and business climate as the state prepares for the 2027 legislative session.
