Annual Holiday Wreaths & Evergreens Sale Begins for Soroptimist International of Bend, Oregon

Fresh from the Pacific Northwest, the fragrance of evergreens will soon be here. It is holiday time in Bend beginning October 1 when the local service club Soroptimist International of Bend (SI Bend) beings its 33rd annual wreath and evergreen sales. All proceeds of the sale support the SI Bend educational awards program for local college students  and charitable non-profits such as HeadStart, Nancy’s House, Saving Grace and Bethlehem Inn.

In 2014, SI Bend awarded $4,000 in educational grants to four area women who attend higher education. In the last 31 years, SI Bend has given over $55,000.00 in educational grants to local students.

All evergreens are guaranteed fresh and will be delivered to your home before Thanksgiving. SI Bend partners with Teufel Holly Farms, Inc of Portland, Oregon.

Since 1943, 71 years strong, Soroptimist International of Bend (SI Bend), has been providing community support serving women and girls of Central Oregon. SI Bend is the longest, continuously running women’s organization in Bend, OR, additionally supporting Bethlehem Inn, HeadStart, Saving Grace, Restore Innocence Project and more. Internationally, SI Bend’s outreach programs “Bras for a Cause” assists’ women rescued from human trafficking especially from the sex slave trade in Africa through the campaign “Free the Girls.”
