Bend-based Five Talent Software is a comprehensive technology solution provider for ministries and nonprofit organizations across the world. Launched in 2004 by CEO Ryan Comingdeer, a software engineer, the company has become known as a leader in ministry and nonprofit technology. In the past six years, a small core team has built over 300 websites for major clients in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, and has over 100 clients using their innovative, easy-to-use church and donor management SaaS applications.
CEO Comingdeer says Five Talent boasts some of the most experienced software people in the region, with deep technological skills and product software experience. Comingdeer oversees managing support, website sales and development.
Chief Technology Officer Michael Gerfen has more than 20 years of software development and leadership experience and specializes in server architecture and client and server communications. With twenty years of software development and leadership experience in software companies of all sizes, Chief Product Officer Andy Gray has coauthored technical books published by Cambridge University Press and is a frequent speaker at software conferences.
Chief Operations Officer Mike Bull possesses 14 years experience in software product/program management, marketing, business development, and quality assurance at organizations ranging from Internet startups to Microsoft.
In late July, Comingdeer brought Preston Callicott on board as a partner. He joined the team as chief relations officer to help Five Talent manage all sales, marketing and partner relationships and to drive the company to the next level. A sales and technology management professional with a degree in electrical engineering, Callicott contributes critical experience in customer relations and business development with Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. With Callicott joining the company, the management team now has over 100 combined years of technical and business experience.
Comingdeer comments; “Any one of us could go anywhere with our skill sets. Some of us have left corporate jobs behind for this opportunity. We’ve chosen to focus our services on non-profits and churches as a way to give back to our community.”
