Paul the Computer Guy has graduated from a home office to a storefront location on Franklin Street. The company’s newly-opened shop offers walk-in computer service six days a week. Paul the Computer Guy also continues to offer on-site and remote repair service for PC and Mac computers.
“Working from a home office allowed me to help business clients by going to them, either physically or remotely,” says Paul Spencer, who launched Paul the Computer Guy in 2005. But it wasn’t as convenient for people who wanted to drop by with their computer during the day, on their own schedule.
So he decided to open a retail location and hire an associate, Susan Galecki. Collectively, they have more than three decades of experience fixing computers. Spencer describes himself as the kind of guy who gets excited when PC World runs its annual review of Internet security software. As for Galecki, she jokes, “It’s not that I’m drawn to computers. They seem to be drawn to me.”
Located at 244 NE Franklin, Suite 2, Paul the Computer Guy offers computer service for PC and Mac every Monday through Saturday. Services include virus removal, computer repair, upgrades, networking and WiFi, data backups, data recovery and more.
