Hand & Arm Therapy of Central Oregon has recently opened on Bend’s eastside specializing in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions and injuries. Owner/Director, Kristin Gulick, has 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist and she has been a certified hand therapist since 1997. The complex nature of the anatomy and surgery in the upper extremities requires specialized knowledge, training and experience for optimal care and results. Gulick has spoken both nationally and internationally on therapeutic methodologies and has authored multiple manuals and articles on patient care. She has unique experience in treating congenital limb anomalies in children and working with upper limb amputees from the Iraq and Afghanistan war efforts.
Gulick has been working with local area surgeons and physicians for two years in the specific treatment of hand and arm injuries. Her programs are designed to achieve optimal upper extremity function which allows her clients to participate fully in their important life activities.
