Artistic Directors Brad Hills and Chris Rennolds announced Innovation Theatre Works (ITW) moved into its own performance facility on February 1.
This acquisition follows a two-year-long search for the right home to accommodate the programming needs of Central Oregon’s first and only professional theatre company.
Formerly the home of the Christian Covenant Church, this facility will also satisfy ITW’s goal of creating an intimate, affordable performance and presentation space for the many wonderful small arts organizations in our region.
Located above the northbound Reed Market Road on-ramp where Reed Market meets Division Street, the new theatre will include a 175-190 seat flexible “black box” performance space, offices, rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms and a full lobby.
In addition to mounting the fully professional productions that are the cornerstone of ITW’s programming, the intention is to become fully engaged with the central Oregon Community through an exciting educational schedule along with hosting a full slate of alternative production activities.
