Bend Metro Park and Recreation District board members decided to delay voting on whether or not to double system development charges from $3,507 to $7,240 for single-family homes.
SDCs are used to help pay for neighborhood, community and regional parks. The city council recently voted to allow developers to defer payment of the fees for up to nine months.
The public will have a chance to provide input on the issue, and several others, in the coming weeks.
