This past weekend, a skeleton crew of workers for Sen. Barack Obama’s “Campaign for Change” began setting up shop in downtown Bend at 117 NW Oregon Avenue next door to The Summit Saloon and Stage, with plans to officially open July 24.
Campaign officials plan to hold a party to mark the occasion this Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, to provide Bend residents with a chance to learn more about where Obama stands on different issues and to let Obama supporters know how they can get involved in his campaign locally.
