October Bend Business Registrations Down 1.1 Percent vs. Same Period Last Year
The number of new Bend businesses registered with the Oregon Secretary of State for November 2021 (248 businesses) is down 1.1 percent versus the same time-frame from 2020 (251 businesses), and 9.1 percent lower than registrations from that timeframe in 2019.
“We’ve seen big increases in business registrations through most of 2021, compared to pandemic-afflicted 2020. September, October and now November represent a slowdown which was probably inevitable,” Bend business attorney Jeff Eager said.
