Bend FC Timbers is hosting a community rally to build support and community awareness for the Build It Forward Campaign. Families, team players, and volunteers will all rally together to support the Support Build It Forward campaign on Tuesday, October 18 at 5pm at Pine Nursery Community Park.
The Build It Forward Campaign is a 10-year community partnership to raise $4.7 million to build a world class soccer complex by 2025. It is an investment in our economy and will transform 8 acres of the Pine Nursery Park into a four-field world class, all-season, athletic facility. Phase I, in 2015-2020, raises $1.7 million to construct 2 fields, purchase goal/field equipment and the design, engineering and permits.
They cannot move this project forward without financial support from our families and community and must raise $100,000 from by the end of 2016 to keep the project moving forward next year. All donations will also be matched up to $10,000 by a challenge grant. What a great way to leverage your charitable giving this year while supporting our kids.
The rallies will take at Pine Nursery Community Park Playground/Shelter area located at 3750 NE Purcell Blvd. in Bend.
Tuesday, October 18 at 5pm. The Bend FC Timbers kids will convene after practice for a rally to build support for the campaign.
