Bend Memorial Clinic Celebrates National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bend Memorial Clinic has partnered with local florists to reinforce the importance of regular mammograms.

 

During the month of October, every woman scheduled for a digital mammogram will receive flowersdonated by All Occasion Flowers, Autry’s, Donner Flower Shop, Fred Meyer and Wild Flowers.

 

Every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer.Although breast cancer is a real threat, there are many ways to prevent andtreat this disease. In fact, 96 percent of women who find and treat breast cancer early will be cancer-free after five years.
