Bend Memorial Clinic to Offer Free Health Screenings, Seminars, Fitness Demonstrations, Cooking Classes and More at the 3rd Annual Health & Wellness EXPO

Bend Memorial Clinic (BMC) will be hosting the 3rd Annual Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday, February 27 from 10am to 2pm at the Riverhouse Convention Center. Admission, screenings and activities are free of charge.

It will be a day of family-friendly, interactive and educational events to help you stay well, eat right and get fit.

Stop by the BMC Health & Wellness Expo to:
• Learn what your oxygen level is and should be.
• Get a blood glucose screening.
• Find out if you are allergic to juniper.
• Check your blood pressure.
• Get a skin cancer spot check by a Dermatologist.
• Take a vision and hearing test and more.

Join Doc Talks at 10:30am and noon where you can hear Cardiologist, Dr. Ian Riddock talk about Dyslipidemia and why you should care about your cholesterol levels as well as Surgeon, Dr. Stephen Archer talk about Obesity & Prevention: Treatment options from food to surgery.

Whole Foods will offer a variety of healthy cooking classes and kitchen tips, stretching demonstrations by The Center, Footzone can help find the right type of shoe for your needs, Recharge Fitness will have a fitness class demonstration, you can learn about the activities Bend Parks and Recreation offers for all ages and grab a free individual or family pass at their booth and more.

Raffle items including a Mountain Bike, Mt. Bachelor summer mountain bike passes, ski and snowboard helmets donated by Mt. Bachelor, gift cards to Whole Foods, the Old Mill District, Footzone and much more will be given throughout the day. The first 250 people through the door will receive a goodie bag.
