Volunteers from First Interstate Bank worked hard at our East Bend Campus and Rosie Bareis Community Campus last week! Over at the East Bend Campus, volunteers repainted an entire building, and at Rosie Bareis campus, they pulled weeds and spruced up our landscaping. A big thank you to Webfoot Painting, who helped with prepping the office modular before the volunteers painted.

Take a look at the progress HERE.

The Community Meeting Room

We are proud to unveil a new space and new name! The “Sanctuary” received a makeover, and what an amazing transformation!

The Community Meeting Room received much-needed love from so many wonderful partners, and the difference is amazing. Many thanks go to Webfoot Painting, Diana Cutler of DC Designs, Budget Blinds, Bend Commercial Glass & Door and Stereo Planet for all of your support and efforts to transform our space into a warm and welcoming Community Meeting Room.

This renovation was made possible by grant funding from The Bend Foundation, MDU Resources Foundation, Mt. Bachelor Rotary and the following funds of the Oregon Community Foundation: Robert W. Chandler II Fund, Edith M. and Paul E. Sobel Charitable Fund, F.J. Hodecker Family Fund, Ward Family Fund, Portland General Electric Peggy and Bob Fowler Fund.

Once it is safe to do so, we will be renting out the Community Meeting Room to the public.

Please consider making a donation to Deschutes Children’s Foundation today.

Your generosity supports a thriving community of nonprofits working together to help children and families grow, heal, learn, and find happiness.

Bottles & Cans

The biggest thank you to Tetherow Resort for collecting bottles and cans and donating the proceeds to Deschutes Children’s Foundation! In the month of July, they dropped off 50 blue bags to Bottle Drop Redemption Center.

Interested in joining the fun? It’s easy! We will supply you or your company the blue bags and once they are full, drop them at our offices and we’ll take care of the rest!
