Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend (BGCB) is excited to announce the opening of the 2024-25 After School Membership enrollment for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. This year, BGCB is introducing several new features to enhance the after-school experience for youth and their families.
New Flexible Enrollment Options
For the upcoming school year, BGCB is offering flexible enrollment options to better accommodate the diverse needs of families. The available options include:
- Full-Time Five-Day Week
- Part-Time Monday/Wednesday
- Part-Time Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
These options allow families to choose the schedule that best fits their needs, while ensuring that all Club Members have access to safe, engaging, and enriching after-school programming.
Targeted Transportation Pilot Program
BGCB hopes to launch a targeted transportation pilot program to provide transportation via BGCB vans from select elementary schools within the Bend-La Pine School District directly to our Downtown Clubhouse. Details are still being finalized. Additionally, Bend-La Pine School District bussing remains a free option for most schools that provide transportation.
Enrollment Details
The 2024-25 After School Membership Application is now open through BGCB’s MyClubHub platform. Families are encouraged to apply early, as enrollment is based on the availability of seats per grade-band cohort. BGCB will accept applications until all seats are filled. BGCB generally sends out offers on Fridays, requesting confirmation of enrollment and the first month’s payment by the following Wednesday.
Financial Assistance
BGCB is committed to making its programs accessible to all families. Financial assistance is available on a sliding scale based on monthly rates and the financial and household data provided. Families seeking financial assistance must submit their 2024 1040 form or the two most recent paystubs for each working adult in the household along with their application.
After School Membership Costs
The costs for the 2024-25 school year are as follows:
- Full-Time Five-Day Week: $375 per month (except pro-rated June 2025)
- Part-Time Monday/Wednesday: $188 per month (except pro-rated June 2025)
- Part-Time Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: $188 per month (except pro-rated June 2025)
Monthly program fees include a healthy, balanced after-school snack provided via the school district. Additionally, current Club families receive first-priority enrollment for available full-day programs during non-school days throughout the school year, such as report card conferences and spring break.
After School Membership Times
For the 2024-25 school year, BGCB plans to operate with the same hours as the 2023-24 school year:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:30-6:30pm
- Wednesday: 1-5:30pm
These times are subject to change based on the official 2024-25 Bend-La Pine School District calendar.
