Brix Law LLP Real Estate Attorneys Form New Firm in Bend, Oregon

Attorneys Brad Miller, Laura Craska Cooper and Kyle D. Wuepper have formed Brix Law LLP, a specialized Pacific Northwest-focused firm with expertise in development and business law including real estate, land use and general corporate law.

“We all share the same vision for our practice and our clients, and this new venture positions us perfectly to fulfill that vision. We want to continue providing top-notch, efficient, responsive legal service to our clients from a nimble platform,” said Miller, the firm’s managing partner.

With offices in Portland and Bend, Brix Law will specialize in real estate, land use and corporate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, lending, debt and equity financings, development permits, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

Cooper, Miller and Wuepper are all recognized as preeminent lawyers in their field. Cooper is recognized by Chambers USA as a leader in the real estate field and was recently named as an American Bar Fellow, an honor reserved for the American Bar Association’s highest regarded lawyers. Cooper currently serves on the executive committee of the Oregon State Bar Real Estate Section and is the president elect of the Oregon Women Lawyers.

Miller is recognized by Chambers USA and is rated as an AV Preeminent Lawyer in the Martindale-Hubbell, American Registry. Miller has also been listed since 2011 as one of the Best Lawyers in America and since 2007 as an Oregon Super Lawyer.

Wuepper is rated as an AV Preeminent Lawyer in the Martindale-Hubbell, American Registry, and has been listed as a Rising Star on multiple occasions by Oregon Super Lawyers magazine. Wuepper is the past-chair, and currently serves on the executive committee, of the Oregon State Bar business law section executive committee.

Cooper, Miller and Wuepper were all partners at Ball Janik LLP. Combined, the three attorneys have almost 70 years of experience and are admitted in the states of Oregon, California and Washington. They provide pro bono legal services and/or serve on the board of directors for numerous nonprofit and community organizations.
