Months of preparation culminated last week in Downtown Bend, where seven finalists walked away with investments totaling $550,000 and growing. Did you miss the winner’s announcement? Click here to see who received this year’s big checks.

Some BVC Highlights:

  • Half of the fourteen pitching companies walked away with a big check
  • All three Central Oregon companies received funding
  • Both the BVC LLC and the BVC Impact LLC (the funds that raise dollars to deploy into companies) have never been bigger, representing an increase in both investors and dollars
  • The flurry of investor activity continues, securing additional dollars for these amazing companies
  • We launched ‘Office Hours’, giving free one-on-one legal, accounting and banking advice to our attendees, thanks to our title sponsors

To all the inspiring companies that took the stage. To the attendees who joined us from The Tower Theatre, Tetherow and online. To our amazing speakers. To our loyal sponsors. To the fund managers, investors and due diligence teams. To the behind-the-scenes volunteers. To the vendors, and everyone else that helped make this event possible. Thank you.

We’re in year two of a ‘pandemic-style’ BVC, but it continues to be a driving force for entrepreneurship in Oregon and beyond. Want to watch a portion of or the entire event? You can do so here.

Check out our beautiful highlight video and excerpts from the Conference below.

And, thank you to Oregon Community Foundation for making our 2021 Highlight Video possible.
