Cascade Security, Inc. has announced that it is offering mobile video technology for rent in Central Oregon.

Steve and Sue Meyer, the owners of Cascade Security, Inc. and Central Oregon Public Safety Supply (COPSS) in Redmond, are eager to get the 24/7 multi-camera, mobile security unit into the field.

“Mobile Video Unit, which we call 1A12, is a solar-powered unit that can be set up with temporary security cameras at various locations,” says Steve Meyer, president. “The current unit has four cameras on a mast that can raise as high as 20 feet. The unit communicates with our central alarm station to dispatch security or police to the site. A video clip is also sent to the responder and the client, thus reducing false alarms.”

He continues, “Our target market is the construction industry, emergency services and events. These can also be used at shopping centers or other sites where a situation may require additional security measures on short notice. This system is also perfect for no-contact requirements brought on by COVID 19.”

To learn more, call 541-848-7763, or stop by the office at 2498 S. Highway 97 (NE corner at Odem Medo and Highway 97) in Redmond.
