Central Oregon business owners and community members are being encouraged to participate in upcoming Oregon Health Authority public hearings regarding proposed changes to Oregon’s regulated psilocybin program.
Oregon Psilocybin Services has proposed significant changes to licensing fees, including increasing annual facilitator fees from $2,000 to $4,000 and service center and manufacturer fees from $10,000 to $20,000, as well as eliminating reduced-fee licenses.
Because these changes could affect psilocybin businesses, employees, clients and the broader communities in which they operate, members of Central Oregon’s business community are encouraged to learn about the proposal and make their perspectives part of the public record.
OHA will hold two virtual public hearings:
Tuesday, September 15 — 6-7:30pm
Wednesday, September 16 — 12-1:30pm
Members of the public may attend and provide comments. Written comments are also being accepted through September 21, 2026 at 5pm.
